Details are still vague because the doctors have had to induce a coma to reduce brain activity and decrease swelling. Mike has a wife and very young child. On October 28th we'll be at remington's downtown with Cornerstone Dub, 77 Jefferson, Speakeasy, and the former Jah Roots band to raise funds to support his family through the medical and recovery stages. We had a blast in Chicago at the end of May, it was great seeing some old friends and making a few new ones. ]]> Mon, 11 Jan 2010 11:59:02 GMT B3881F26458F4E3484D575E8559F1608 Impending Winter http://grantmusic.net/words.cfm?feature=992716&postid=124250 As we head into the cooler part of the year, I've got some new shows booked in some new places (including one i've never played in!) and some bizarre new merchandise.&nbsp; A note about that: I make very, very little profit on the merchandise in my store.&nbsp; It's set up so I have no overhead, each piece is made as you order it so I don't get stuck with 500 mugs no one wants.&nbsp; It allows me to demo new merch ideas and see what people are interested in before I commit my admitedly&nbsp; small funds.&nbsp; I take almost no profit (hard to believe, I know, but think $1.65ish in most cases) to keep the cost to you as low as possible.&nbsp; Hopefully I'll be able to bring the cost down as the volume goes up. Just wanted to let you all know that my mom passed away this morning. Thank you for all of the phone calls and texts and emails last night- I apologize for not returning them, but please know how much they all mean to me.

I?m still not sure when I?ll be back to the city- the memorial service will be this weekend, so I would guess middle of next week. I?ll let you know for sure once I know.
